They are the biggest mostly because they understand what customers want from a storefront. Epic didnt even have a basic thing like cart for a year or two.

@videotech Only if GTA VI did not get many preorders because of this we would see a change. Backlash means nothing if it doesnt affect MONEY that are pouring in. I honestly wouldnt care for physical IF we had decent laws making sure digital purchases are actually owned by us.

@PalmPortfolios @MHTruthUltra How would an Office program be outdated unless they force it to be? Office doesnt need subscription, it doesnt improve much, it has been almost same for over a decade. It just means you pay more. Minus some features 90% wont ever use and them trying to shove AI slop into it.

And yes, having to rely on subscriptions everywhere means that they can take away literally anything, anytime and for any reason. Sony took away hundreds of purchased movies. Own nothing and be happy is it?

@BatchGaming I think the biggest issue is digital games have no protection and ownership. If that was put in place by law, half of the issues would be gone.
