For millionth time, it’s energy storage that’s the issue.
Basic Physics.
If you cannot store it for when you most need it (in the dark in winter) it matters not one jot how much you can produce during the day.
Batteries will never be enough for circa 70 million people in the UK.
We are heading for blackouts.
How do I know?
Just last winter they introduced a scheme to PAY people to NOT use electricity as the demand was too high.
And that’s before we are all supposed to be charging electric cars plus using air source heat pumps and making steel from electricity instead of coal.
