Last night, #DXFD firefighters responded to Carriage Ln for a reported structure fire. All off-duty firefighters were recalled to assist. DXFD Engine 2 with two firefighters, from our Ashdod Station, arrived on scene in three minutes..
They called 911 and pulled into the fire station. Firefighters were ready when they arrived and immediately assisted with delivery in the ambulance.

At 2:00 a.m. this morning Pembroke Firefighters assisted a mother in delivering a healthy baby boy in the parking lot of our fire station. The mother and her husband were on their way to South Shore Hospital and realized that they were running out of time.
This afternoon we were alerted to a house fire. Crews found a fire in a bedroom and were able to quickly extinguish it. The occupants safely evacuated and kept the door to the fire room closed which helped prevent the fire from spreading. @DuxLocal2167 provided station coverage

Today we conducted a drill on Oldham Pond that simulated a water rescue of three victims. This drill allowed us train on diving, water rescues, boat operations, incident command, and communication during a large scale incident.

Group 3 recently received a call for a person not breathing and in cardiac arrest. PFD responded and preformed many life saving interventions. Today, the grateful resident came by to express his appreciation for our efforts.
