New story: Florida endured public blowback by going from Sun Belt Billy to G6 Jon, missing out on Lane Kiffin along the way. So far, it’s worked out brilliantly.
“I feel the beast stirring.”

I need to make a very PUBLIC announcement on behalf of younger GenXers and older Millennials.
If you see someone in their 40s or 50s who seems a little boring now, I need you to understand something...
We already got it in.
Like...GOT. IT. IN.
We are not sitting home on a Friday night because we never knew how to have fun.
We are sitting home on a Friday night because we have seen enough.
We went to parties in houses that should have been condemned and were almost certainly owned by the local drug dealer.
We saw police lights and RAN and not across a nice, flat field.
INTO THE WOODS.
Do you understand the athleticism required to hurdle uprooted tree roots in platform shoes while simultaneously trying to keep your low-rise jeans from sliding completely off your ass?
And somehow...we never spilled the Zima. We never spilled the Boone’s Farm.
That was TALENT.
We slept on floors in strange houses because the designated driver either never showed up or, in a shocking turn of events, was drunker than everybody else.
There was no Uber, Life360 or Find My Friends.
There was just somebody named Mike saying, “I know a shortcut.”
And we FOLLOWED MIKE.
We closed down bars and then decided the night was still young, so we drove to Atlantic City, where we somehow managed to get drunk, sober up, get drunk again, sober up again and then get drunk a THIRD TIME before breakfast.
And according to our parents? We were at Michelle’s house.
Eating pizza and watching movies.
Michelle’s mother unknowingly covered for approximately 17 people every weekend. If there even was a Michelle.
We drank things called Purple Passion, Mad Dog 20/20 and whatever somebody mixed inside a giant plastic garbage can. Nobody asked what was in it. You grabbed a red Solo cup and trusted the process.
We went to clubs until the lights came on. Do you know the psychological damage of seeing a nightclub with the LIGHTS ON? Nothing good happens after those lights come on.
We danced for four straight hours in shoes that permanently altered the structure of our feet.
We made entire plans without cell phones...no texts, dropped pins or group chats...just an extremely questionable sense of direction.
We rode in cars with 11 people when the vehicle legally seated five. Someone was always sitting on someone. Someone was always in the hatchback.
And there was always one friend yelling, “DUCK!” when we passed a cop.
So yes...now we like being home.
We like sweatpants.
We like cancelling plans.
We like saying, “That sounds fun!” with absolutely no intention of attending.
We like restaurants at 5:30 because we can get a good table.
We like being home by 8:17.
And if someone texts at 9:30 PM and says, “What are you doing?”
Sleeping...we are sleeping.
Because this is not boring my friends...this is retirement.
We already played, partied and danced on the bar.
We already ran from the cops through a wooded area dressed like a Spice Girl.
We have stories that cannot be posted because there are still people with careers, marriages and reputations to protect. And thank GOD there were no camera phones.
So kids, when you look at your Gen X and older Millennial parents sitting peacefully on the couch watching Dateline at 8 PM and think:
“God, you guys are boring.”
Sweetheart...oh sweetheart.
You are looking at retired legends.
Put some respect on our names. We're probably the reason Life360 was invented.
xoxoxo (posted from someone else on FakeBook) 🤣 #genx #oldandtired
I think that Trump renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America is pointless and stupid.
Wanna know what else I think is dumb?
The fact left-wingers are triggered about this after they spent the last decade plus renaming sports teams, public schools and universities, streets and highways, food and condiment brands, and redefining half the dictionary altogether.
Here’s a list of some in case you forgot:

NEW 🚨: El Salvador’s President Just Issued a Challenge to Trump—“You Have 350 Million People to Liberate.”
This wasn’t a photo op. It was a mission briefing.
At the White House, El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele looked President Trump dead in the eye and said:
“You have 350 million people to liberate.”
Bukele isn’t just talking tough—he has the results to prove that it can be done.
“We turned the murder capital of the world—that’s what the journalists called it—into the safest country in the western hemisphere,” he said.
Critics complain about mass arrests.
Bukele fired back:
“Sometimes they say we imprisoned thousands. I like to say we liberated millions.”
Trump grinned: “That’s very good! Who gave him that line? Do you think I can use that?”
Then Bukele hit the heart of the problem:
“To liberate 350 million people, you have to imprison some. That’s the way it works, right? You can’t just free the criminals and think crime’s going to go down magically. You have to imprison them—so you can liberate 350 million Americans asking for the end of crime and the end of terrorism.”
No fluff. No fantasy. Just facts.
This is what happens when real leaders speak truth.
America is finally ready to listen.
If you haven’t seen the news about the young boy who was stabbed by an immigrant and the cops arrest HIM, and this boy died after being handcuffed in the street…
THIS is why we must speak up.
This is a fight Brits and Americans must take on together.
BREAKING 🚨 Iranian women are dancing to and singing YMCA in the streets of Los Angeles ❤️
Fake News Media is having a hard time spinning this into something negative
THEY LOVE TRUMP 🔥
🚨WATCH: In a bombshell interview that's exploding on X, an Iranian protester confronts Hollywood celebrities head-on: "While you're mourning one American protester gunned down by your own agents, thousands of us are being slaughtered in the streets of Iran, and you say nothing!"
I was raised around the church, and I wasn’t into it. I was never going to be the guy that believed in all this just because that was what was socially acceptable in my environment.
Over the years, I had gone back and forth, but it was never much of a priority. Fast forward to 2022, I considered myself agnostic and decided to get serious about figuring out a direction. I read every book I could find on the subject, the Bible included, doing my best to view all the information objectively.
Around this time, I was down bad one day and decided to say a prayer and asked Him to show me a sign. The very next day, a man came up to me in the gym, hadn’t seen him before and haven’t seen him since, he held out a shirt with the verse from Jeremiah "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future.” on it and said “I’m not sure why, but I felt called to give this to you today, he sees you”.
I get random text from my mom that afternoon, same verse.
On that same day, my Grandpa was in the hospital—the only artwork in his room? Same verse. (Found this out weeks later)
I realized that over the years I had a bad taste in my mouth about organized religion. It can be used to control and to profit, but I also realized that isn’t what Jesus wanted or taught. That is humans being human, and I came to the conclusion that it’s not right for me to let their mistakes affect the way I view Christianity.
I’m a logical dude, I get the skepticism over the subject, and sitting here today I can tell you that I never thought I would write something like this. Everyone is on their own journey, and I’m the last one to push my beliefs on someone else. I’m not trying to appear virtuous, or trying to assert myself as “above” anyone. I’m writing this because arriving here has changed my life in a way that makes it feel wrong to keep it to myself.
I don’t have all the answers, but through my own research and experience, all I can say is that I believe with all my heart and soul. God bless, and have a great weekend.
Nobody wants to lose their mind with age
But most people blame mental decline on genetics, or "getting older."
This 10-year study found one of the STRONGEST predictors of brain aging wasn’t DNA.
It was LEG STRENGTH!
Here’s how to use & protect your muscle-brain connection:👇
We’ve been told dementia is mostly fate.
But research from King’s College London followed 300+ twins for 10 years and found something shocking:
Even after controlling for genetics...
Leg power predicted cognitive aging.🦵🧠
In other words:
Your quads may matter more than your chromosomes.
🦵>🧬
Here’s how strong legs protect your brain (and a few tips to maximize the benefits: 👇👇
1️⃣ Muscle releases “brain fertilizer”
When large leg muscles contract, they release myokines.
These travel through your bloodstream and increase BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor).
BDNF = fertilizer for neurons.🧠
🌱 More neuron survival
🌱 More neuron growth
🌱 Better memory
2️⃣ Lactate = premium brain fuel
Hard leg training activates fast-twitch fibers.
These produce lactate.
...your brain LOVES lactate.
Lactate:
- Acts as a backup fuel source
- Enhances memory formation
- Improves cognitive energy
3️⃣ Protects your hippocampus
Stronger legs are linked to:
→ Larger total brain volume
→ More grey matter
→ Less shrinkage of the hippocampus
The hippocampus is ground zero for memory…
…and the first region hit in Alzheimer’s. 💡
4️⃣ Better blood flow
Your legs are the body’s biggest muscle group.
They act like a second heart.
Stronger legs =
🩸 More efficient waste clearance
🩸 More oxygen to the brain
🩸 Better nutrient delivery
🩸 Better circulation
5️⃣ Lower inflammation + better insulin control
Muscle attacks 2 silent drivers of dementia risk:
- It improves insulin sensitivity
- It reduces chronic inflammation
High insulin resistance and chronic inflammation quietly damage brain tissue for years before symptoms appear. 🧠💥💥
*⃣ Muscle acts as metabolic armor.
⭐️ The Bottom Line
We obsess over crossword puzzles and supplements for brain health... but one of the MOST powerful anti-dementia tools is lower-body strength.
Think of leg training as your neurological insurance policy.
Here are 4 simple strategies to get started without needing the gym: 👇🧠
1⃣ → Aim for 100 bodyweight squats per day (you choose the amount and timing)
2⃣ → Get a kettlebell or dumbbell and make them goblet squats
3⃣ → Hit the treadmill on an incline (activates more muscle tissue, and burns more fat, too
4⃣ → Aim for 3 minutes of wall-sits per day (also great for lowering blood pressure - use a yoga block between your knees for added control)
🔁 THE REFRAME:
You’re not just training your legs. 🦵
You’re training your brain. 🧠
Build muscle like your memory depends on it.
(because it does!)
