New paper, hot off the press from my lab group! TL:DR -> Landscape complexity was positively associated with crop yields, and farmers may receive a small crop productivity benefit from enhancing landscape complexity. Nice work @pgalpern, @jessvickruck! https://t.co/OmUR7Sn2lZ
I cannot express how dismayed I am. How can I wean myself off of @Google products. Their financial support of climate denial is unacceptable. Is Apple better? https://t.co/i5pdSDqn4s
@ColinGarroway@TheSimpsons I appreciate this perspective. It gives me some hope that we might be able to convince people that it's not giving up too much just to party like it was 1984, rather than 2019. Think Thriller and Michael Jackson.
MORE beneficial insects and ecosystem services today, at UofC with @pgalpern and @PollinatorsCan. Super exciting to be in the room housing one of the largest collections of native bees in Canada! #canola#beneficialinsects
@Adam_J_G @jessvickruck Those pitfalls @jessvickruck mentioned were all from 100+ grassland and cropland pitfall sites and maybe in 5000 inspected 2 were not Phalangium opilio. We decided to stop IDing. This is still cool, however.
