We don't wish to speculate as to the nature and extent of these issues, as there are other forums for that discussion.

But we do want to ask KOIN holders to DYOR and exercise caution in depositing into the Chainge Finance app until such time as these issues are resolved.

Koinos, we have a problem

Actualmente hay un grave problema en el ecosistema Koinos. La empresa que creó Koinos, Koinos Group, está atravesando una grave escasez de liquidez. Cuando se queden sin fondos (lo cual podría ocurrir en unos meses), será necesario apagar los servidores de la API, la red de pruebas (testnet) y el Market Maker, lo que pondrá en peligro la continuidad de las cotizaciones en los exchanges.

En los últimos cinco años no han logrado generar beneficios, y ahora están intentando desarrollar un producto que puedan vender en el mercado actual, ya sea mediante una ICO o atrayendo inversores privados.

Los principales afectados hasta el momento son:
• Koinos Group (@TheKoinosGroup ), que ha invertido cientos de miles de dólares en construir y mantener el ecosistema.
• Los desarrolladores de la comunidad, que han destinado recursos a crear herramientas, APIs y dApps.
• Los inversores, que apostaron por un proyecto muy prometedor cuyas expectativas especulativas no se han cumplido.

A pesar de la situación, todos los implicados están siendo bastante transparentes y se están proponiendo distintas soluciones:

(a) Steve Gerbino y Michael Vandeberg (KoinosGroup) están trabajando en una nueva red basada en una tecnología llamada DAG, que permitirá cientos de miles de transacciones por segundo (los últimos prototipos han alcanzado los 150.000 TPS).

También desean que esta red sea compatible con Solana, y con estos dos objetivos buscan hacer las cosas de forma distinta a como lo hicieron con Koinos. En particular, quieren asegurar financiación anticipada mediante mecanismos como ICOs o rondas privadas de venta, y también planean realizar un airdrop de tokens para los actuales poseedores de Koinos.
