Why are there no quotas for minorities in football and only quotas for majorities in cricket and rugby
Where is the call for representation when the team is all black
Majority of white people are South African when the Springboks play, but when it's World Cup season, they suddenly remember their Dutch, French and German ancestry.
Just an observation, I'm not trying to be controversial, but then again some habits die hard!
Afrikaners by 1948 were still grappling with the Poor White Problem , which was mainly a White Afrikaner problem. By 1988 they had resolved the problem. My question is why are black people in 32 years not able to get black schools in Mthatha to compete with any white school or WSU/ United to compete effectively with UP or UFS etc.
Why did Afrikaners have they confidence to build schools , universities and people who could outco.pete the English abd we cannot? What is the problem exactly?
When the Khoe wouldn’t work for the Dutch in the Cape, they were branded as “lazy” & slaves were brought from Asia & elsewhere in Africa. When the Zulu wouldn’t work for the British in Natal, indentured labourers were brought in from India. This is all important to know today.
A city is funded by ratepayers who are required to use the funds for the ratepayers
We are not a communist state that must look after everyone
Cities look after ratepayers or become Jhb’s slums
Boring monotone and unenthusiastic but those who have been bulshitted by the ANC still believe he can make up his mind without an inquiry or commission
I was called to a Parent-Teacher meeting this week because my Grade 1 son asked: “If immigrants must go back home, are white people going to Europe and Indians to India?” He somehow offended half his class 😅
And what is stopping you and the other unemployed blacks going to do that - you want a state hand out - they just get on and operate because they are entrepreneurs and not just followers
You can’t leave your country to come to South Africa to be an @Uber or Bolt driver, to be a barber, a street vendor or own a spaza shop. Those aren’t critical skills and they should be reserved for South Africans, especially the unskilled or uneducated citizens. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Yet before 1994, less than 37% of Black South African households had access to electricity. Almost all white households had electricity. Rural settings accounted for approximately 12%. Now we're at 88%. Rural households account for roughly 60%. They had the means to give us electricity. They just didn’t want to.
Yes because in a genocide population is wiped out - 2/3 of the Jews of Europe were murdered - the population of Gaza increased and I only saw fat people walking around - so there was no genocide in Gaza and yes your lies will be shown up
It's a myth Germans didn't know the Holocaust was happening. They may have not known the details, but they knew Jews were being sent to their death
Likewise, decades from now you'll hear people say that Israelis "didn't know" about the genocide in Gaza. That is also a lie
An ordinary South African is not preoccupied with his fellow African migrants. Ordinary South Africans want to reserve general labour for poor South Africans, force businesses to employ 90% locals and 10% foreign nationals, punish businesses that hire more immigrants than South Africans, include the poor and working class in South Africa's economy, subsidise entrepreneurship, and invest in youth development, industrialisation, and science, technology, and innovation. No ordinary South African will chase poor African migrants; the guilty parties are the South African ruling elite, businesses, the political elite, and right-wing forces.
That requires lateral thought and looters can’t think they just destroy and don’t care about the consequences including the fact that in the end only big business wins
TRUTH HURTS:📍🚨 Let's be honest for a second. Every time we see another shop being looted or forced to close in Durban, people act like those empty stores are opportunities waiting for locals to take over. But the reality is very different.
Most of us cannot afford the monthly rent on those premises, let alone the hundreds of thousands of rands needed to buy stock, pay workers, cover electricity, security, municipal fees, transport costs and supplier accounts.
It's easy to celebrate a shop closing until you realize replacing that business requires serious capital, business networks and cash flow that many ordinary South Africans simply don't have access to.
The result? Empty buildings, fewer jobs, less economic activity, reduced municipal revenue and entire areas slowly declining.
A closed shop doesn't automatically become a thriving local business. More often than not, it becomes another vacant space collecting dust.
Whether we like hearing it or not, destroying businesses doesn't create wealth. It destroys it.
That's the uncomfortable truth many people don't want to discuss.
‼️REMINDER ‼️
@cyrilramaphosa was talking about genocide on the 14th of October 2023. 7 days after hamas slaughtered 1200 people. Now they have been given a 36 month extension at the ICJ.
Question: Which of these are genocides?
3% = Percent of populace of Gaza killed in the war
2.5% = Percent of populace of US killed in the civil war
4% = Percent of populace of Europe killed in WW2
33% = Percent of Muslim men in Srebrenica killed in 12 days
50-75% = Percent of Armenians in Turkey killed by the Young Turks
67% = Percent of European Jews killed by the Nazis
Do you get it now or do you need to call a friend for help?
Which black person has donated anything to the state - build something - create something - all you want is to steal and rename which is a form of stealing the credit for something you never did
