@CLondoner92@Ofcom I have to report that the response from @virginmedia since I posted has been exemplary. I had a call with a real person within an hour and it was all sorted. But it is a shame that its needs @X to sort such things out.
I have been trying to cancel my @virginmedia account since Oct last year. They just ignore me, you can't get through on the phone but they're very prompt with letters from debt collectors chasing bills . Does anyone have any tips about how to cancel a Virgin Media account?
🚫 I was turned away from the Royal Academy—for bringing a folded bike. 📉 Context: visitor numbers at the RA are still around 50% below 2019 (622k vs. 1.25 M). Folding bikes are compact, clean, and part of the Net Zero transport solution. ✅ If the RA wants to boost footfall, cut carbon, and improve access, they should allow folded bikes alongside luggage and buggies and train staff on accommodating active travellers.

Grilled by Merlin Fulcher on the Open City podcast about recent Government announcements & today's likely amendments to the NPPF, I give a shout-out for Angela Raynor's go-getting approach but am less convinced about the ability to deliver the number of homes needed. https://t.co/rD3i77ng82

Insightful and inspiring lecture from @PGSMurray which I was disappointed to miss in person. Lovely to see a reference to our #HolesToHomes proposal to transform London's golf courses into affordable homes, too!
