For decades, American roads were steadily getting safer for pedestrians. But around 2009, the trend reversed.
We wondered why.
Most other wealthy countries haven’t seen similar increases, suggesting that smartphones don’t tell the whole story. https://t.co/t7sFzmNcY0
Yes, the United States has the most progressive tax system in the world. The top 1% pay 40% of taxes, the bottom 50% pay 3% of taxes. We can make it even more progressive by zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. It’s a small amount of the total tax revenue but very meaningful to people in this group.
The corrupt UN wants to pass a resolution blaming Europe for slavery.
"it will label the European-led slave trade as history’s greatest crime ... the 1,300-year-long Arab trade in African slaves will not be mentioned."
Heard a new one: insurance company denied treatment because the patient lives in PA… and his doctor is in PA.
Insurance is the biggest scam in America… and that says a lot
I’ve seen insurance companies do this with cancer patients. It’s a sick game of chicken. They hope the patient dies before any appeals win…
Insurance is the biggest scam, hands down.
American Doctor Caleb Masterson reveals that 50% of patients that have been approved for a prior authorization before surgery, then have their coverage denied after the surgery is completed
He says UnitedHealthcare is the insurance carrier doing this scam
“Half of all united Surgeries that are prior auth approved get subsequently denied”
Americans health insurance companies are running a racket
He says they make them jump through more pointless hoops just to get the same approval they already had. The are dragging out the process hoping people give up
Had a convo with a Swede & an Indian about marriages. Sat politely for 10 minutes listening to how the Swede thought Americans were too materialistic about weddings & said nothing about Indian weddings.
I stopped taking them seriously after that, they just hate America.
This thread did numbers in Europe overnight, 1.5M and climbing. Ratio is ~50:1 in my favor, but as usual, the negatives are the most interesting.
A large portion of Europe absolutely hates America. This isn't really Trump, they hated America before Trump,

@st_louis_stan@CovfefeAnon Well articulated. I largely agree w everything written, though this is, IMO, the driving rationale behind the Greenland acquisition-- it's not a land grab, it's a necessary hardening of our defenses.
Without key Affordable Care Act tax credits, a person making $65,000/year in Tompkins County, NY would pay close to $10,000/year for health insurance. And that's the cheapest plan available.
If Senate Republicans let the tax credits expire, people won't be able to afford health insurance. Period.
I’m sorry, but if you believe in letting ppl die in the ER because hospital staff are too busy dealing with illegal aliens overloading the ERs with head colds and flus and using the ER as a primary doctor, then we really aren’t having the same conversation
No… Tylenol has been around longer than most FDA safety & efficacy standards, that’s why.
And the liver tox issue isn’t just for kids, that’s well documented for a long time for anyone.
🚨 JUST IN: RFK Jr. reveals Tylenol use doesn’t just have links to autism, but ADHD and LIVER TOXICITY in children as well
Why is TYLENOL available over the counter but Ivermectin is not?!
Because our politicians are OWNED by big pharma. But RFK Jr. is telling them to get lost.
