If the government had an alternative, wouldn’t it have surfaced by now? I also don’t buy that TVK is anti-growth most of the CM’s visits have been industry-focused.

@infrapaalpandi I’m obviously on the side of the people . What I’m trying to understand is whether there are any genuinely viable alternatives ,credible operators with a visible track record of meeting European standards.

@Indicfederr0d Of course both are at fault ,fuck the government . But that doesn’t erase the company’s documented compliance lapses. I’m siding with the court’s factual findings and the law. The government was voted out too.

@infrapaalpandi Of course closure isn’t the ideal solution. My issue is with this company’s repeated compliance failures even after being fined and given chances to correct them. At that point, the question is simple: why should the public trust them to comply the next time?. I am pro industry❤️

I want India’s copper industry to grow. Voters rejected that government too. Just check out the history of that company too

@Indicfederr0d @raj140283 I’m pro industries, not pro-repeat violators .The company had years to fix issues after the 2013 fine and still faced serious compliance failures. Please read the Supreme Court disclosures and findings again. ❤️

@raj140283 @Indicfederr0d I’m all for growth but never at the cost of human lives. Build better roads, raise FSI, create more GCCs, improve cleanliness and airports. But growth should not mean giving repeated environmental offenders another pass.
