Yeah - sure guys - Elon is totally going to load up his $20,000,000 dollar untested AI space satellite onto his Starship rocket that blows up 41.7% of the time. Instead of just building it on the ground for 1/10th the cost and zero risk.
Go give him your entire life savings.
On of the worst thing non-space people do is compare ISS costs to anything as if its relevant.
For non-space people the best comparison i could make would be like:
A Bugatti Chiron costs $4M and has 4 windows. So if you want to build a house that has 20 windows that will cost you at least $20M
Like literally. ISS expensive and have radiator therefore unrelated thing with radiator is $150B . This is not analysis this is stupidity
This doesn't even come close to how bad it actually is because there are several unique things about ISS that make it's cost worse.
@CCFC_76@ryanhaydon@laurlin24 A home that "traps heat" will also "trap cold" because all it's doing is maintaining a temperature gradient, and there's no difference which way the heat is trying to flow.
American and Canadian homes trap heat, too. They need to, because we get colder winters than the UK, too.
Every single relationship that reaches this state has already ended and the two parties are continuing forward out of habit and inertia alone. There's no solution for the same reason there isn't a topical ointment that reverses whole body putrefaction after death.
The honest truth is that a lot of married women and women in long-term relationships feel this way. I realize this will anger many men, but it’s pretty normal. I don’t know what the solution is, I just know it’s common
@cinamoorolll Guy who isn't fat here: if I ate every time I was hungry I'd clear 3000 kcal by 11am every day, 5000 kcal before bedtime. Food is really calorie dense.
Supplement vitamins and be more physical at work. Nothing is more exhausting than standing for an entire shift, but paradoxically if you do 20 squats and lunges every half hour all day you'll still have lots of enerby by the end of the day. I used this to survive 12 hour shifts.
When I was that:
Clean apartment (10 minutes)
Work out (1 hr)
Cook food (30 minutes)
Eat while watching video (30 minutes)
Shower (30 minutes)
Music or videos until bedtime.
On weekends, all the same plus videogames to fill the time.
Living in a house makes hobbies easier tho.
What is this mysogynist BS? Framing considering others as equals as a weakness is actually evil and corrosive to society in ways difficult to fully convey.
