Gen Z absolutely has a moral policing obsession but I think it's the way they were raised. They were brought into a world where people's ignorance or mistakes were used to ruin their lives and people kept receipts to cancel people.
Now you have an entire generation morally crusading because they're scared that they may end up on the receiving end of harassment under the guise of "holding people accountable" for "being problematic" which are both extremely vague statements.
And I absolutely think people should be more empathetic towards what they say or do but do you really think some people do these things for empathetic reasons?
A lot of the time people are being "called out" by people that do not like them and want to influence a campaign of hatred towards them, not because they care about the issue at hand.
you know what's crazy is that disabling smart features doesnt let you sort your emails anymore, which in the modern email environment makes your account nearly unusable as everything you receive is treated equally. sorting emails was a feature long before AI. nasty work
We're losing the oldest natural history museum in the country while data centers are expanding and America's scientific institutions are either being sabotaged or dismantled.
I hate this. I hate this so much.
Every image Ive seen of this trend have been clearly JUST been for photos like being on faces/bodies or disposable items so they can take them off/throw away. Fake ass whimsy larpers some balls and COMMIT put that shit on your laptops, REUSABLE waterbottles, phones!!
I feel like the writing advice of "just think about what super cool scenes you want to see your characters in :)" is kind of sabotage because good stories are not built upon hype moments and aura. Thats how you get a Hazbin Hotel
Jai vu un commentaire dire que la souffrance des personnes noires fini forcément par devenir un meme et décrédibiliser la personne et son histoire et maintenant je n’arrive pas à m’enlever ça de la tête c’est tellement vrai
