@kpharmd12@elonmusk I remember completing CMRs on Mirixa a decade ago and all of the forms we would print out to send to the patient would be plastered with “CVS”. I would photo copy the forms and put our pharmacy logo in the place of CVS because we were the ones doing all of the work, not CVS
@drsimonegold This is what happens when you put someone in charge of HHS who has no medical background at all. His anti-vax ideals and policy changes that are not based on evidence are harming us.
@GT_in_Burgh@GovernorShapiro Prices have continued to rise, despite min wage not increasing for 17 years. Min wage increases should be yearly and tied to an inflation marker such as CPI
The price of a quarter pounder has doubled since 2009. Shouldn’t a person have to work the same number of hours to buy that
@AndersonKe65014@DrMakaryFDA It has a massive list of drug interactions, as well as different dosing based on kidney function. Definitely should not be OTC. If anything, pharmacists should be able to dispense to a patient with a positive test after a consultation without a prescription
@DahlgrenDDG43@MAGAVoice@magaarmadillo Lead was in gasoline and its removal was started in 1973 and gradually phased out until 1996 when it was completed removed. By the same logic should we put lead back in gas as its removal coincided with an increase in autism? Obviously not, as correlation does not equal causation
@LazerusArise@MAGAVoice The unvaccinated have significantly higher rates of preventable diseases such as measles, mumps, and whooping cough. We should not be removing recommendations for child vaccines
@RepJohnJoyce Did you know that nearly half of the pharmacies in Blair county have closed in the past 10 years? Most of those closures were small independent pharmacies. The actions of insurance companies and PBMs are hurting our communities
@RepJohnJoyce thanks to the federal shutdown, a valuable resource for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals is not providing up to date information
@48HDpanhead@GovernorShapiro That in turn limits access, since pharmacists have to follow cdc recommendations when administering vaccines. To be given outside of the recommendation, a prescription from a doctor must be given. That will severely limit who has access to the vaccine
