Maxx Crosby addresses the failed Ravens trade at the start of his #Raiders OTAs presser:
"It's water under the bridge. It's a long time ago. A lot of things I've learned about what's going on and what this league can bring. A lot of adversity, a lot of different things you can't anticipate... It is what it is. I'm here and I want to be here."
Dillon Gabriel on Jared Verse wearing number 8:
"Yeah, I was kind of hoping he would pay me for my number. But then he just started wearing it in practice."
Raiders LBs coach Ronell Williams, who comes from Eagles, describes Nakobe Dean as a "multiplier" on and off the field with his preparation and intensity.
"When you talk about culture building and really trying to turn the tide to get things going, you need those staple pieces."
WEMBY JUST DROPPED A BAR:
"The lack of experience is a strength of us...because we could do impossible stuff because we don't know it's impossible" 🥶

Raiders DBs coach Joe Woods said their vision is to have multiple players who can interchange at nickel and safety rather than have primary players at either position.
Said the approach will allow them to "dictate what we're doing" and not let the offense "have a beat on us."
Raiders safeties coach Matt Robinson, who came over from Ravens, said Treydan Stukes can "absolutely" play a similar role to Kyle Hamilton in secondary.
Said his size, speed and versatility is similar to Hamilton, and hope is that he can bring physicality to his position.
I texted Aaron Donald about coming out of retirement and playing for the Rams, alongside Myles Garrett:
“I’m for sure flirting with the idea. Helluva an opportunity with the Super Bowl in SoFi this year. If I can find the fire, it’s a possibility.”
Raiders RB coach Omar Young said they've pushed Ashton Jeanty by "putting him in all different kinds of positions to see exactly what he can and cannot do."
Added that they hope Jeanty "builds a callus" so that he feels comfortable with all they will ask him to do in season.
Raiders QB coach Mike Sullivan said Fernando Mendoza's "way of finding completions" has stood out to him.
Said he keeps his poise, doesn't panic and finds the open target exceptionally well. Added that he's pleased with his development so far.
Wow: Former All-Pro safety Eric Weddle went OFF on Michigan QB Bryce Underwood saying he can’t throw or play QB and will get benched early this season.
"And mark my words, I was out there for spring ball. Don’t be surprised if the backup [is] playing early because that Underwood kid, you know, I don’t think he could throw or play quarterback, so we’ll see."
