How to sum up #PHENiagara2025? We're still reflecting on the sessions, the learnings, & the joy of bringing together >600 dedicated professionals to realize our shared vision: that every child & youth values & enjoys the benefits of healthy, active living! @PHECanada@Supportphe
Many health organizations recognize that unstructured play benefits kids, improving their mental health, well-being & resilience. We also think kids shine during free play outside. They're the creators, the organizers, and the players. That's what physical literacy is all about.
The outdoors is essential if we want to be our healthiest selves. Why? When we examine the physical, mental, and emotional health of our children, a cursory look at brain development tells us.
