Fred (my 1st cousin 2x removed) was due to go over the top on 7 May 1915. He wrote this to Fred Senior the night before and gave it to the company padre. I'm always touched by the feeling of certainty, that there no doubt he is in the right place...

A personal story:
My grandfather fought in WWII. He never spoke about it, so we didnt know much about his time in the service, but based on the patches on his uniform, we think he did something in intel.
