Had enough of @British_Airways Executive Club and @traveloneworld. Now flight number 6 which has not been credited or credited incorrectly. Claiming for tier points via your website always gets rejected. Now missed out on silver as my tier year ended. Rubbish service.
Hi @British_Airways I have now submitted a claim 3 times (for the same flight) for missing Avios and Tier Points and they still have not been correctly added to my EC Account. How do I get this resolved? Because the online process clearly does not work.
@PeterDraper3 @HullHospitals No, I was never asked. The pictures were taken years ago by the university but now the trust seems to use them for whatever they want.
At #WHA76, I will be joining @womeningh to demand gender-transformative action from policymakers on
☑️ Gender-equal leadership in health
☑️New social contract for women in health
☑️Strengthened pandemic preparedness
☑️#GenderUHC
☑️Prevention of #SEAH

NHS nurses hold the hands, tend the wounds, save the lives, wash the dead. They comfort us, console us, diagnose us, save us. They toil & smile & endlessly care.
Not a single NHS nurse wants to strike tomorrow. They’re desperate.
Please show NHS nurses some love. Please RT 💙
We need to shout this from the rooftops. When will the government understand patients are put at risk every single day due to chronic underfunding by THEM. The strikes have absolutely nothing to do with it. We work to dangerous staffing ratios every day.
@RachelReevesMP@AngelaRayner How are you planning on tackling workforce retention? There will be very few experienced staff left to train all of these wonderful new doctors and nurses. Labour should maybe start supporting the fight of doctors, nurses and allied HCPs for better pay.
@thetimes I am a nurse and I feel completely let down by our nurse leaders. They have never spoken up about patient safety concerns despite us calling for them to. Striking hasn’t pushed our NHS to breaking point and put patients at risk, poor leadership and this government has.
Nursing is not a vocation. It is a highly skilled graduate profession. It is a risk oriented & patient safety focused profession.
But because it is a majority female profession, nurses' skills are devalued & they're not paid fairly for these skills.
Hence 40,000+ vacancies.
Appropriately qualified pharmacists, nurses and I’m sure other HCPs have the ability to assess and prescribe. Both professions are antibiotic guardians and committed to limiting the spread of AMR. Who is prescribing is NOT the problem. OTC antibiotics and antibiotic sharing is.
The uproar from The Times interview with Therese Coffey should not be that other healthcare professionals have the ability to prescribe but that she is openly promoting the sharing of antibiotics and making them easily accessible without professional opinion.
In addition to the Health Secretary’s shocking advice promoting sharing medication, has Therese Coffey heard of antimicrobial resistance? Maybe someone should explain this to her. Very concerning comments from the person in charge of healthcare.
We lead by example. Drs & Nurses would strongly advise against handing out your own drugs to friends & family. Most have seen A&E admissions, addiction and worse due to this. Very open to more professionals trained to prescribe. Atm we need leaders fit to govern.
@doctor_oxford
Multiple studies show clearly that getting vaccinated protects against severe illness & death from COVID. It also reduces chances of Long Covid & infection. I’m fully vaccinated. Twitter is full of rubbish on vaccine conspiracies so don’t believe it just bc it’s a fancy video.
An Ebola death in the capital city but minimal reporting on the current situation in Uganda. Medics stating poor/no PPE and calling for district quarantines. When will we learn we can’t ignore outbreaks especially concerning a strain with no effective vaccine.
