Ten million people have watched a Stanford lecturer accidentally destroy the entire self-help industry.
He filmed the lecture once as his Last Lecture to Stanford's Class of 2026.
Life coaches charge $500 an hour to teach a diluted version of what he covered in 33 minutes for free.
His name is Graham Weaver. He is a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the founder of Alpine Investors, a private equity firm managing $16 billion of institutional capital.
Every year at Stanford GSB, he gives graduating students a lecture called "How to Win Without Crushing Your Soul."
His entire framework fits on a napkin.
Achievement does not fix self-hatred. External wins taste like salt water. Fire the inner coach who uses fear as motivation. What you avoid grows. Pull the nails out of your head. Trust the second voice, the one that speaks through energy, not panic.
That last rule alone has probably cost the hustle culture industry a hundred million dollars.
"The good old days are happening right now, unless you skip them."
That is the closing line of the lecture. Weaver spent thirty years running past his to figure it out.
Founders raise $100 million and cry in their car the day the round closes because the number was supposed to fix them and did not. Engineers earn their first six-figure promotion and lose sleep the same night because the person the raise was supposed to save is still there.
The lecture is free on Stanford GSB's YouTube channel. Weaver's writing is free on his newsletter.
Weaver still lectures at Stanford. Almost none of the ten million viewers have actually fired their inner coach.
The framework is free. The willingness to actually trust the second voice before your next promotion, exit, or investor meeting is the entire edge.
This is exactly what it looks like when a mother decides she has finally had enough.
School boards have spent years turning classrooms into counseling sessions and patting themselves on the back.
This woman just stood up to the microphone and brought them right back to reality: the only goal of an educational system is to prepare children to be productive members of society.
The future of this country looks a whole lot brighter when women like this step up and testify for the next generation.
We need thousands more of her taking a stand.
Well well well… it was acceptable when she said it during her campaign, but unacceptable when Trump is actually carrying it out.
I’d say this didn’t age well, but it’s really just the hypocrisy.
Wow. MSNBC has a guy on basically saying this is Charlie Kirk’s fault because of what he says and what his politics are. After this the host continued to demonize Charlie while he fights for his life.
EVERY ADVERTISER must be called on to pull their ads from MSNBC immediately!
Arizona just announced that it could take 10-13 days to tabulate all votes…
Taiwan just held their election.
They require photo ID and use paper ballots. They hand-count the votes of each station one by one, in public view. There are no mail ballots.
It’s all done in 6 hours.
