Was a lovely Saturday outing some weeks ago as the husband @philanumisma and son Tejaswi headed out to get their philately passport stamped in 6 post offices in Dakshina Kannada. A family that sticks stamps together, stays together! And, Teju made this video of this trip.
How do we popularize Philately? By taking it to the masses.
A unique initiative by Central Region, Tamil Nadu Circle, aimed at sparking interest in Philately among school students. A mobile philatelic exhibition, 'Dugi Dugi Vandi', was inaugurated today from Thanjavur HO.
The very agency #Bharathiraja wrote his heroines & female characters with ensured they were never wall flowers while pining for someone — they did so with a flourish, even humour. Even the men's yearning was encased within the contrasting layers of power & vulnerability

Oh #Ramaiah Sir, with your passing, one of the people who made me take up journalism has gone. Every time an intern tells me I have been kind, I place that praise at your feet. You showed what kindness is, in letter and spirit.

#2025LaadliAwardee, Subha J. Rao, Senior Journalist & Film Critic, speaks to the resilience required in storytelling.
Her insight reminds us that true Gender Sensitivity in Media is about dismantling silence. By creating a platform where women’s perspectives are not just heard but celebrated, we ensure that no story remains in the shadows—a clear act of Media for Change.
We proudly celebrate Subha’s career dedicated to championing these vital narratives, which is precisely the kind of work we honour at the Laadli Media Awards.
