“Want ‘servants’, start your own airline” - @philbinu for @themojostory in solidarity with the #Indigo cabin crew who lost her cool in a viral video https://t.co/b6EYrEcvmA
The story of the mattress shop that turned its stock into a safety net for Delhi fire victims: Riyazuddin & family are from Amroha. They’ve made Delhi their home for nearly half a century. Now, they may have made it a home worth returning to for several others ♥️

This #WorldEnvironmentDay, I want to ask every young Indian one question:
What kind of India do you want to inherit?
One where rainforests have been bulldozed for casinos, coral reefs erased from maps, tribal communities pushed off their land, and the air we breathe turned into poison?
Or one where India’s natural heritage is protected, our tribal communities are safe, and progress works with nature - not against it.
Right now, the Modi government is destroying Great Nicobar Island. More than 1.5 crore trees, ancient coral reefs, irreplaceable rainforests are being destroyed - to profit one businessman.
This is your inheritance they are bulldozing. And only you can stop them.
Sign the petition. Tell the Modi government we choose #GreenOverGreed 🇮🇳

High time we move Beyond customary “commemoration” of Days like these.
We should also try confront the next 5 ppl we see throwing plastic bottles on the road for eg. sure enuf the biggest resistance will be from those who “look educated”.
#climatechange is serious! A good perspective @thenewsminute
Ask the next five people you meet if they can say ‘climate change’ or ‘global warming’ in their mother tongue.

@dhanyarajendran Very true and important, this. Many of the things we discuss, go over the top for those who’re not use to complex English terms. Say that in the mother tongue, and the impact may be better to ensure stronger participation.
BTW, better will be കാലാവസ്ഥ വ്യതിയാനം ?
I visited the southernmost tip of India.
I stood at Indira Point. I walked under trees that have stood for centuries. I dove into coral reefs among the most vibrant on earth.
And I sat with the people who live there. Tribal communities, whose land is being taken away by violating the Forest Rights Act. Settlers, many of them former soldiers, placed on these islands by the Indian government, who aren’t getting fair compensation.
The Modi government and BJP tells you Great Nicobar Project is about defence. It is not.
Expand INS Baaz - we will back the government fully. The Navy has been asking for expansion for five years - it has been ignored.
They tell you it is about a transhipment port. It is not. India is already building one in Kerala, which is on the mainland.
What it actually is: 1.5 crore trees felled. Coral reefs erased from official maps. Soldiers and tribals displaced - so one businessman can build hotels and casinos on India’s most irreplaceable ecological land.
Every young Indian I have spoken to understands this. You know that no amount of profit is worth destroying what can never be recovered.
I stand for ecologically balanced development. These islands can be the most extraordinary sustainable destination the world has ever seen. That is the India worth fighting for.

'Getting panic attacks': College deadlines loom with students trapped in CBSE chaos.
Trapped between a crashing portal & fast-approaching college deadlines, teenagers say they are watching their university dreams slip away due to a botched tech rollout https://t.co/ob7gEan0n1
Guess who we had in the @newslaundry studio today. I had the most fabulous time chatting with @sidhant_sarthak. Sharp, balanced and such a public-spirited individual.
The story of how he got interested in public procurement is worth knowing. Out soon. Stay tuned!
@Vasudha156 In the spirit of digitisation (the prime reason for this chaos), it should’ve been an AI-driven committee of Claude, Gemini and some others!
@priyankac19 Another way to look at it is: in 12 years has anything like this happened? So this may look like a BIG action. Standards are so low that even a normal action looks big.
Media yet again calling transfer of CBSE officers and constitution of an inquiry committee as BIG ACTION by the government!
So laughable, no wonder the mainstream media credibility is sinking every single day!
Pyaari Media this is a bandaid for a situation that needs URGENT surgery! Sacking has to start from the top not from ikka-duka transfers!
@dhanyarajendran@Nidhi How shameless can people be, after reducing so many students to tears, and creating needless heartburn with a system that was hardly tested, and conducted in unreasonable haste!!
#CBSE Chairman and Secretary have been transferred. A probe has been ordered into CBSE's procurement of On Screen Marking (OSM) services. None of this would have been possible without the gen Z - particularly the tech-savvy Class 12 students - exposing the vulnerabilities of the entire tech at CBSE's disposal. Now the question is who will conduct the probe. Because from what we know so far, it does not look like a simple case of tech being used and it not working efficiently.
@GBA_office@GBAChiefComm this is the reality of unplanned white topping leading to flooding of the entrance to a layout near KJC signal on Hennur-Bagaluru rd. Forget walking, one needs to learn swimming if not on a four wheeler. Leaving the work incomplete, your people didn’t know someday it would rain???
