It’s also important to note that the .gov webpage “Local restrictions: areas with an outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19)” has not been updated for the last two days, despite the new restrictions starting in an hour. Again, very helpful. (5/5)

Ministers have repeatedly told people to use common sense (and getting out to get the economy going… I'm not sure how these are compatible) to keep virus transmission low. It seems only possible for people to do this if they have the correct information available to them. (1/5)

In the regions facing renewed restrictions, there's an R-value <=1.0, and the daily growth rate is negative. Clearly this doesn't correlate with the reality these regions are facing at the moment. It appears that, once again, clear communication from this gov is lacking. (4/5)
