NETosis within the tumour immune microenvironment promotes immune evasion, pre metastatic niche formation, and metastasis. ICIs, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy can induce NETs, potentially facilitating invasion and recurrence. NET burden assessment may refine prognosis and enable biomarker driven trials of NET targeted therapies.
