Pay us what is rightfully ours, and let us work with dignity and pride in our profession.
To our Esteemed seniors NARD, we ask you stand for us, if the fight for the right and welfare of junior doctors truly beats within your hearts, let this moment show it.
We ask for transparency in the reasons for the refusal of payment, and a recognition of our indispensable role in the healthcare system.
It is an absolute contraindication to pay us late. We urge the authorities to consider our plight, to hear our voices, and to take action.
We are the backbone of most government hospitals, yet we are overworked, underpaid, and undervalued.
It’s Enough!
We demand to be paid the #35,000 palliative mandated by the Federal
Government, that the 25% increment be instituted. it is a rightful claim!
dignified life. Many of us are the sole providers for our families, and the financial strain often leads to debts and financial hardship.
While others receive their due payments and bonuses on time, we are left wondering why our "noble profession" is treated differently.
This question has lingered in our minds, unanswered by the Authorities or @MDCNOfficial
Our duties are extensive and demanding, we're the first point of contact for most patients, triaging, administering medications, and even conducting life-saving procedures. Yet,
at the end of each month, we find ourselves pleading to be paid, often receiving our salaries in the first or second week of the following month.
Speaking of salaries, the reality is stark. The amount we are paid barely covers our basic needs, let alone allows us to live a
hospitals, we find ourselves facing numerous challenges, both professionally and personally.
Months back, His Excellency @officialABAT mandated a #35,000 addition as a palliative measure, we were left wondering why House Officers nationwide were excluded from this relief.
Concerned Citizens and Authorities,
House Officers, every day, witness the pressing need for change in our healthcare system, a need that often falls on deaf ears or is swept under the carpet.
As House Officers, despite our vital role in the functioning of various Government
Medical and Dental council of Nigeria @MDCNOfficial needs to have a rethink. House Officers like all others health workers are very much deserving of the salary increment.
This is pure wickedness and lack of regard for our sacrifice ; the hours of work we put in everyday and…
@MDCNOfficial
I sincerely hate to complain about the health sector. Things are really messed up but I can never understand the robbery.
Robbed House Officers of palliative allowance
Robbed them now of salary increment while this same people do intensive house officers work and
or they are simply " means to an end" in the Nigerian Health sector?!
Alienating this very important member of health team from the palliative privilege is wicked, unreasonable and communicates
