This is exactly what led to the downfall of Hollywood from 2020 until today. Thousands of inexperienced DEI hires joined the guilds while competent professionals who had worked for years could not get arrested. The results were terrible movies/tv that resulted in the studios taking massive losses, leading to them being sold, bought out and merged. And all the executives who enforced this Soviet like equity ended up getting fired anyway.
