Do the job you HAVE.
PREPARE ( on your own time ) for the job you WANT.
Work like it’s the only job you’ll EVER have.
Support others in THEIR job the way you’d like to be supported in yours.
Be the person they hired YOU to be.
Take responsibility for your effort.
Take responsibility for your attitude.
Take responsibility for your mindset.
Take responsibility for your habits.
Take responsibility for your emotions.
Take responsibility for your leadership.
Take responsibility.
You control you.
Great leaders are adaptable. Things aren’t always going to go as expected in any situation. Leaders must be able to pivot and navigate the situation no matter what. Leaders take action.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
“Don’t complain about how rough the sea is, just bring in the boat.”
Doing what’s expected of you isn’t special, it’s average. It’s what the majority of people do.
Greatness requires extra work, extra time, extra sacrifice.
Let your effort match your ambition.
If a Team can’t FORGIVE each other throughout the Year, they will never FOCUS together throughout the Year.
Teams that lack the ability to move on from issues never really go anywhere at the end of the season. They never get traction so they never find sustainability.
The Leaders that think it still flies to spend 80% of your time with your top 20% of your Team or Program are living in the distant past. The entire roster has a voice. They have people they listen to. They have dreams and plans. You better make sure they are HEARING you too.
Pray for Charlie Kirk’s Wife, Children and Family.
Pray for his friends and loved ones.
Pray for all the people he impacted.
Hug and pray for your own Children and Families.
Pray for the people who see the World differently than you.
Pray for your enemies.
Ben McCollum said, "Your job is to not be here for yourself - but it’s to be here for everybody else."
Great teams are built of selflessness.
• You show up for each other.
• You sacrifice for each other.
• You win with each other.

You always need to build up a tolerance and mindset to deal with individual criticism and people being dismissive of you.
Like any other skill or muscle, it only gets better when you face it.
Don’t let criticism knock you back. Take it all on and move forward with it.
When someone holds you accountable, thank them. They’re helping you get better and preventing you from doing things that undermine your influence and your performance.
If they speak the truth, it’s because they care.
Humility is the key.

You can’t please everybody.
You won’t get approval from everyone.
You can’t avoid criticism.
So stop trying.
Give your best effort.
Show up with integrity.
Be at peace with yourself and ignore the noise.
Be about progress and purpose, not people pleasing.
