@kapaterson Was it 33% in Scotland only after discounting "don't knows"? (It's been 23%-25% in Wales over past few months (&it's been comparable before) & only changes to over 30% when you discount "don't knows".) I'm a supporter of Indy and member of Yes Cymru local group for several years.

@Jeggit Such things demonstrate effectively what the union was and is like. But I've not seen any good reference to it being used as late as the 1940's- do you have any? (Susan Jones MP notwithstanding. And one reference on Wikipedia *from* 1930's referring to previous generation.)

@Jeggit @YesCymru It's unfortunate when as someone supporting Indy you have to speak out on such things for whatever reason, I've found. People see you as some fifth columnist, someone to hate, instead of someone who wants to help the Indy movement go along an effective route.

The main ones doing it aren't doing it on an ignorant twisting of facts, they are doing it on straightforward lying.
