@Tyler_A_Harper I have said many of these things about Miller Lite, but not nearly as well. I’ve taken to enjoying the smaller local brewery offerings of 4-4.5% ABV brews that are growing all the time — and I always describe them to friends as “Craft Miller Lite”
@matt_breen Bad look and bad PR for Middleton…but anyone who read Randy Miller’s bio of HK knows that the 2nd Mrs Kalas came off a bit weird. Seemed to have a thing against the club (she skipped his CBP memorial service) and insisted on the payment for his naming rights in the first place.

@LukeEpplin I just finished the book and it was phenomenal. I was 7 during that magical season and, although I’d learned a lot more of the backstory of both men over the years, the book taught me new things and brought some hazy childhood memories to life. So good.
@Ike58Reese Everyone is talking about this like they intended to go down two scores. They intended to make the conversion and be down 7 with the two-pointer they needed already in the bag. It didn’t work and I can see the arguments the other way — but if they converted, it’s a non issue.
@KevG163 I went to this game as a 14 year old kid, recorded it, and watched it over and over again. Almost 40 years as a season ticket holder, and this game is easily a top 5 memory.
@hammerito I think the Baltimore guys call a good game and the Padres and Giants are good, too — but your point is correct. T-Mac and Kruk are, at a minimum, solidly above average.
@PanasonicDX4500 Game 4 of that Brewers series remains one of the most underrated important wins in Phillies history. CC would have been on full rest in Game 5 and I did not want to see that man fully rested in a do-or-die.
