today we won our union at Korshak Bagels!! thank you to Phil who voluntarily recognized our status as a union. we hope to serve as an example for Philly workers that you can win a union, you can win a living wage, and you can have dignity at work!
UPS shows their true colors by using tactics that pit workers against each other. Shame on @UPS! solidarity with all the @623Local workers fighting for dignity! #oneuniononefamily
Proud to support @623Local fighting split wages. @UPS has made record profits during the pandemic, while workers are being stretched and given little protections and no hazard pay.
1. Dock Street said it couldn’t pay its workers $15/hr
2. Workers picketed outside
3. Dock Street can suddenly pay a living wage!
If you’re not getting dignity on the job, ORGANIZE! @phillydignity

It's deeply disturbing that UFCW represents cops and fired a staffer who proposed modest policing reforms in his role as a state legislator. All our unions would be stronger without cops undermining them from the inside.

These bills buy renters significant time, but still orient the responsibility and burden of pandemic response onto renters. However, these will be the ONLY protections renters have through this crisis. For that many renters lives may literally be saved - but we can't stop here.
simply incredible that I was blocked on Instagram by my neighborhood brewery, Dock Street, for asking why they won’t rehire their staff now that they’re reopening. Surely nothing will go wrong with this marketing tactic
