They were told last Thursday the plan for policing the game was prone to failure
They refused to listen
The outcome is what happened and they were told it would likely happen
"You are going to need far more [officers] for a Celtic Rangers game.. Is it coming down to how much the clubs are willing to pay for policing?"
Senior cops were also asked about how the Old Firm derby was policed, and whether the service's bill was a factor.
@GrahamSMSP pointed out games at Hampden have more officers than were present for Sunday's pitch invasion.
@ScotlandSky Why was there not adequate policing inside the ground ??
Clear to anyone there was Insufficient police numbers inside the stadium
Where was the usual line of police in front of the fans at full time ??
