Lots of people shocked that a lot of venues take money off musicians for selling their CDs at gigs. 15, 20, sometimes 25% plus VAT for selling merchandise. I buy my CDs from the label for £6.40. If I sell at £10, and the venue takes 25% + VAT, I make 60p per CD. Time for change?!
