#Detroit, Woodward Ave, 1910-2020. These views show 2 iconic 19th century Woodward churches. In 1910, city population was under 500K. By 1930, it was 1.6M, & Woodward widening was approved. Woodward Ave Baptist (burned in 1986) lost its tower, while St John's was moved back 60'.
