@saxx I was about to write "don't forget the sales tax (depending on state between 0 and 10%)", but then I checked the Apple prices. That's like 30% more in Euros, yowzers!
Ich kann dir in drei Wochen gerne was mitnehmen aus NYC. :D
@theainasser I'm halfway through the season, really enjoying it so far. (British) casting is great, this isn't an American action movie. I look forward to seeing the rest, the first book was perhaps the weakest anyway. Oh, and Lucy Morningstar was great. Thumbs-up from me!
@nitsuaa92 Good stuff!
I love "The Amazing Devil" - it's like Shakespeare metal. "Vaudeville" is a cool song, great sounds (and they are from Colorado apparently). Backxwash is interesting - I've never gotten into rap, perhaps I should!
Thanks for the collection.
@saxx@saxx https://t.co/TZqdDNO1kp is ein alter Freund von mir. Keine Ahnung ob sie Auslastung haben oder die Richtigen sind. Kannst aber dem Martin schoene Gruesse von mir ausrichten.
@nitsuaa92 Yay! Created a Spotify playlist of the albums to listen to while gaming. ( https://t.co/ppW71HZ7wb ) Pew, pew, pew. I will render my complaints after the listening.
@saxx@badlogicgames So much easier to devalue currency (aka inflation) - just print more money. It's actually one of the economic guidance mechanisms the government has (good for cheapening loans). No need to stage an elaborate people-killing pandemic.
@internetztube By the way, I read an interesting article about China, but I feel this also somewhat applies to Austria. People there do not trust stocks, seeing it somewhat akin to gambling. Instead they put their money in real estate (i.e. their own home), driving up those prices.
@protom24 Haha, nice one! But actually it seems that degrowth offers a very different way of handling crisis. It's not about austerity to get the GDP up again - quite the opposite, investing in people and sustainability.
@protom24 I listened to https://t.co/rgwMfgzpAc and thought of you. Should we replace "GDP growth" with other metrics such as happiness and sustainability? Also introduced me to the idea of "degrowth". Interesting stuff. :)
@saxx@plauscherl What if the talks were sort of optional and casual. The big area is the socialising area, and whoever wants to can join the smaller room to listen to the conversation/talk/presentation going on there.
@ddprrt I assume you've tried the Logitech R800? I've never had an issue with it. Though my favourite are "presenter rings" - the hardware sucks, but you have both hands free to gesture wildly! Just bring a backup if you are worried about interference.
