@edwardtbabinski Thanks for the reply! Both have no earlier citations of the proverb than the book (1995). I feel like it may have been from a less published source, in which its authenticity is questionable (I haven't come up with anything corresponding in Chinese)

@kirbyconrod I had an opposite problem, "Submit" was unresponsive for many tries. Did get through though. (Chrome inside Twitter app on Android)
