@BishopJohnInge Worcester will miss you, Bishop John. Thank you for being the bad thief in our Passion Play. Certainly not typecasting!!! May I wish you all the best as you embark on your next chapter…
@BishopWorcester I have just seen the news about your retirement. You will be greatly missed be the Diocese and the wider church community in Worcestershire. Thank you for all you have done to share the good news - and we wish you and HJ all the best in your retirement….
We give thanks for Geoffrey Studdert Kennedy, adopted son of Worcester, Woodbine Willie:
‘They gave me this name like their nature,
Compacted of laughter and tears,
A sweet that was born of the bitter,
A joke that was torn from the years
Of their travail and torture …’
Well said, Jess: why silent, I say! Let’s fill cathedrals with music. When I ministered at Ely Cathedral we organised a ‘Rave in the Nave’ which was very noisy - and joyful. There was loud praise of the Lord as well as just noise. https://t.co/dKCDMgvUH0
@bkauflin Where the songwriter attempts to be clever with a simile, a metaphor or an analogy that does not appear in scripture - or there is only a vague link. Where a songwriter uses a phrase which could be misconstrued. For example “Reckless Love”.
@SoEnergyUK I am unable to provide a gas meter reading because the meter is not sending usage info. I have contacted you via FB Messenger and email but not getting much help. I reported this over a month ago and though it had been fixed.
