From my perspective, both GiveDirectly activities were emotionally charged and the joy and excitement palpable. I had to suppress my emotional joy bordering on any tears leaking out. I was honored and blessed to be included. https://t.co/9FVK5u3IdN
My initial attraction to GiveDirectly was the extensive studies they did in the onset to show the positive impact of the cash transfers and verification that, in fact, recipients overwhelmingly made positive choices in what to do with the money. https://t.co/b1bmW61eec
The next morning we awoke and broke camp by 6:30 AM in search of lions followed by a visit to top of Murchison Falls before the long drive to Fort Portal. https://t.co/a1TTAYjxOo
Overall, I was impressed with the breadth of the focus areas @Capable was teaching. I had thought their program was only agricultural but was pleasantly surprised to learn how much more they were doing. https://t.co/8jvYMqfe1Y
