@danushman I still remember the first beer I drank that I actually enjoyed like it was yesterday, even though that was about 20 years ago. All beers before that I just drank to get drunk, but that one beer changed things
@nogettinthrough@zarathepirate Oh man that sucks. Our first was like this but our second is just super chill.
The difference it makes is huge - everything is ten times easier with a happy baby that sleeps
@LucyBronzevyou@DigitalVagrant Depends where you are from. I grew up in Australia and we used to say it. It wasn't meant as a slur from us.
I was shocked when I moved to the UK and found out it was considered a slur. Some Aussies now know this, but many are unaware and still say it not knowing it's a slur
@some0nethere@DrKnowItAll16@Tesla Yeah the fines in Australia are ridiculous. Plus the junior cops get promoted if they give out loads of tickets, so there's always one hiding somewhere to catch you out
@willo2_Poly Good luck mate. Anyone who has paid attention knows the Polymarket team are bad actors. Which is a shame because they could still make it by being legit. Seems like some of the replies in this thread are from people with an interest in seeing Polymarket win
@Dantalyian@cristo_radio It won't. The more expensive houses will fall but people in cheaper houses will be better off which means the entry level home will now be more desirable and increase in price. So if your a 1st home buyer, now is the time to go buy something under the stamp duty threshold
@cristo_radio People with expensive houses will be upset - their costs increase & house value will dip. People in cheap houses will be happy - their costs decrease and their house values will increase. If I was a 1st home buyer, I'd be looking to purchase a house asap <ยฃ300k before they go up
@MedhurstMary@BROKENBRITAIN0 To some extent yes. But most people buy larger houses out of necessity due to expanding families - can't see that changing much. Those that dont have a big family and buy large houses anyway probably don't have affordability issues anyway
