@KapilChopra72 Part of it is our responsibility. Government responsibility is to provide for proper solid waste and sewage disposal facilities in all towns and cities. Source segregation is good but finally waste to energy facilities are necessary.

@AnanthOnTrack The segment on the gap between platform and train is eye opening. In the MRTS in Chennai, on newly built platform is still not open to passenger traffic due to the height difference between platform and train.

@aravind Considering knowledge and technology advances, should not those planning such infrastructure take into account such weather events? Airports are built with no easy access. Why is ease of access not taken care of during construction of airports?

@vadakkus It is very unfortunate. Fast and efficient rail travel is a dire need. Doubling of rail tracks has not increased the frequency of MEMU trains. Some MEMU do not run on weekends. Sabari rail should be extended till TVC via Kottarakara bringing new regions under rail network.

@americakaran There is need for innovative thinking on use of unused railway land. One of them could be used as MEMU terminal and increase frequency of MEMU on routes. I am sure there will be enough users in Kerala. Will decrease crowding in general coaches of long distance trains.
