After they bombed 100 Venezuelans to death, after they caused the equivalent of 3 Great Depressions by sanctions, after they kidnapped the president, the CIA finally admits that there is no conclusive evidence to prove that the Venezuelan government ever committed election fraud.
I said this about AI well over a year ago. Using it to diagnose and fire people with medical conditions so they lose their insurance AND their income is somehow even more heartless and evil than I’d predicted.
“We have watched as they use our money to fight their wars, killing people around the world while we go hungry at home, while we struggle to pay our bills, while we fight for the scraps that fall off of their table.” https://t.co/2dzJh8Krek
Trump and the far-right can attack communism all they want; we know where we stand. We fight for a system that puts people first. We fight for immigrants' rights, for an end to police crimes, and against the U.S. war machine—yes, we're communists, and we're proud of it.
Do YOU think our political system should favor the rich? The Supreme Court does.
Today the U.S. Supreme Court lifted all limits on how much political parties can spend on their candidates - only the latest example of this dying system showing its true colors. It's plain to see: capitalism is a rigged game. It's time to stop playing.

57 years ago today, a police raid on the Stonewall Inn in New York City set off one of the most famous uprisings of the last century, igniting the broader LGBTQ movement in the U.S. for decades to come.
In an era where reactionaries are trying their hardest to turn back the clock on the gains made by the LGBTQ movement, we should remember that those gains were only made possible in the first place by militant struggle. The path forward for preserving and expanding queer rights is not to cower in the face of these attacks and hope they'll blow over, it's to carry on the spirit of Stonewall and FIGHT BACK against anti-LGBTQ oppression.
We will not be quiet, Stonewall was a riot!
a bus every 6-7 minutes is the entire secret of good transit. no schedule, no app, you just show up. the kids have been screaming the answer at us for over a year. six seveeen. headways. they're talking about headways
Gen Z realizing one of the biggest shocks after college is that life no longer happens around you.
In school, friends, events, relationships, and opportunities are built into your environment.
As an adult, if you don't actively create a social life, weeks can turn into months surprisingly fast.
Happening now: Garden Grove city council getting hammered by residents after the chemical disaster by GKN’s weapons manufacturing facility, which supplies key components for Israel’s fighting jets.
They are demanding the city permanently shuts down the facility.
this will go systematically unnoticed for god knows when, and not a single entity will do a thing to slow it down let alone stop it, not even fake condemn it, and when Palestinians are pushed to explosion the world will act like Palestinians have started a new cycle of violence.
community college challenges every classist notion of education and academia and having access to it has changed my life. it should be preserved, supported, and destigmatized with everything we have. hard to name a more precious educational resource for those over 18.
