An Irish dude on this app once said to me. They give the guns to the Americans bc they will never use them. They keep the guns away from the French bc they will use them. 😂😂😂😂
NAF A-29 Super Tucanos conducting an operation that shifted from armed overwatch to an interdiction strike hit terrorist positions at Rijana Hill, Kaduna State, on Friday, October 9.
The Super Tucanos were providing aerial escort and surveillance for a convoy conveying the GOC, 1 Division, Nigerian Army, and an Air Component Commander when they were abruptly redirected to Rijana Hill following intelligence indicating the convergence of an undetermined number of suspected terrorists in the area.
The Super Tucano pilots sighted the terrorists attempting to flee and seek cover upon noticing their aircraft.
The Super Tucanos engaged the identified positions with onboard weapons before conducting a further aerial scan of the area. No additional threats were observed during the follow-up assessment, after which the aircraft returned to base.
ON MY RADAR
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced sanctions against the International Criminal Court on Friday, hours after the Nobel Prize was awarded to the court’s former judge Navi Pillay.
Rubio called the ICC a “rogue court” and threatened to “dismantle it piece by piece.”
Yesterday, I had a very productive meeting with the incoming Governor of Ogun State, Senator Solomon Adéọlá Olamilekan Yayi @Sen_AdeolaYAYI , where we discussed the future of our dear state.
One thing that stood out was his interest in the aspirations of young people, particularly Gen Z, who will play a defining role in shaping Ogun’s future. We discussed the need to create direct channels for young people to engage with the government, share feedback and contribute meaningfully to policymaking. After all, you cannot build a future for young people without giving them a voice in shaping it.
Building a state is a continuous process. The progress made under Governor Dapo Abiodun’s ISEYA provides a foundation upon which we can build, consolidate and advance our collective aspirations as a people.
For me, the journey from ISEYA to ITESIWAJU is about moving Ogun State forward, building on the gains of today to realise the greater possibilities of tomorrow.
I believe in Senator YAYI, I believe in what his ITESIWAJU agenda represents, and I believe in his bold, practical and vivid vision for Ogun State.
I will do everything within my power to support his emergence as Governor and contribute to the realisation of the Ogun State of our dreams.
This is bigger than politics for me. It is about the future of our people, the opportunities available to our young people and the kind of state we want to leave for the next generation.
ITESIWAJU is more than a political aspiration; it is a promise of a brighter future, greater opportunities and a better Ogun State for all of us under a Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Yayi leadership.
@accessbank_help@access_more@myaccessbank 250k was removed from my account, and when I visited your branch, I was told it was a “system issue” affecting several customers. That is not an acceptable explanation. What investigation is ongoing, and when will my money be restored?
Mr President @officialABAT, please for the love of God remove this woman. Let her do the peaceful resignation thingy.
The job has gotten too big and overwhelming for her, that’s why she is lashing out at Nigerians.
NAFDAC needs bold leadership and fresh ideas.
Can you see the way she said “riff-raff Hausa people” without batting an eye?
This is how used to bigotry they are. They live in bigotry, drink in bigotry, and swim in bigotry, to the point that they don’t even know that what they are doing or saying is tribal bigotry, unless the same thing is done or said to them.
Say “riff-raff Igbo people,” and you will see tears all over social media. You will start wondering if you have said anything different from what they said about other ethnic groups.
There is a madness about Nigeria that's mind boggling.
The concept of paying to enter beach is already insane, now add charging people extra money to take their personal camera in is beyond insane.
You want to collect extra 150k to have people take personal camera to the beach after they already paid to enter the same beach.
It's why I said you'll genuinely hate Nigeria if you experience a country where things are working because everything here is setup to make you pay for the barest minimum while getting almost no value in return.
