Ghostty is leaving GitHub. I'm GitHub user 1299, joined Feb 2008. I've visited GitHub almost every single day for over 18 years. It's never been a question for me where I'd put my projects: always GitHub. I'm super sad to say this, but its time to go. https://t.co/DQDemHdytV
@nullvoxpopuli Yeaa that's what i keep saying ahah + native Glint support 😭 But we're deep into road to ember upgrade/v2 addons conversion/embroider. But the day that's over i'm pushing for gjs (already dropping some "that'ld have been easier w/ gjs" comments in PRs ahah)
@nullvoxpopuli Not at all, legacy handlebars. Meaning full guesswork/manual-mode and no static analysis :(
I have postponed convincing my team that moving gjs should be on our roadmap (everyone kinda love the js/hbs splitting right now)
Just released shadcn-ember: an @EmberJS port of shadcn/ui.
✅ 47 components ready to use
✅ CLI and MCP available
✅ Built for modern Ember (`.gts` template tag components)
✅ Works with @vite_js and @astrodotbuild
@nullvoxpopuli The feedbacks i usually get from my team are "having it in the dependencies adds some mental charge/it looks pretty important for Ember to work so why isn't it part of it directly/why isn't truth-helpers native?"
@nullvoxpopuli Totally agree :) Only problem i can see w/ the blueprints is that some packages we don't know what they actually do so you never know if you can remove them, as a new user (i.e: ember-export-application-global, ember-cli-app-version)
🚀 Introducing Swapy – a framework-agnostic tool that converts any layout into a drag-to-swap one with just a few lines of code.

@nullvoxpopuli are there any known risks for apps <4.x ? (3.28 mostly). safe to put it as a resolution to ensure only a single version is installed?
