The main path through Samphire Hoe is currently closed for improvement works. Please use the track next to the railway line or the sea wall (assuming it is open). Thanks for your understanding.

Fieldfares are thrushes that visit for the winter months heading back to North Eastern Europe to breed in the Spring. One was enjoying the sunshine at Samphire Hoe yesterday.

Thanks to everyone who came on our New Years Eve guided walk at Samphire Hoe today. And a special thanks to Volunteer Ranger Marion, who piped us into the start of the walk.
Join us Thurs 12th Dec for a festive volunteer task at Walmer Beach, helping rare butterflies, moths & wildflowers at this special coastal site.
New volunteers welcome! Meet 10am at Borrow Pit Car Park (W3W: grocers.huts.baseless). @DoverDC@SamphireHoe1997@BCKentBranch
