Imagine your father being murdered, then being refused the chance to see or bury his body.
The inhumanity wrought by this administration is unconscionable.
@WallStreetApes You mean like the way Republicans attacked Michelle Obama for trying to get kids to eat healthy lunches in school? You are all hypocrites.
Reports that the White House has dismissed the remaining members of the Election Assistance Commission — all of whom were unanimously confirmed by the Senate, including a commissioner appointed by President Trump himself — should concern every American, regardless of party, because the EAC was established by Congress as an independent, bipartisan body to help states administer secure and credible elections.
If these reports are accurate, removing every remaining commissioner just months before the 2026 midterm elections is an extraordinary step that demands an immediate explanation from the administration and raises profound concerns about political interference in the institutions that support our elections.
BREAKING: HAIRY SITUATION — Hegseth’s beard war is a perfect symbol of Trump’s BROKEN Pentagon priorities.
As US-Iran tensions threatened to boil back over into open war, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth boarded a Navy ship with a mission. Not to assess military readiness. Not to check on troop morale amid international conflict.
He was there to look for BEARDS — and not the kind that closeted gay Republicans marry to hide their sexual orientation. No, it was that typical masculine expression of post-pubescent virility, facial hair...
And he found some.
CNN reports Hegseth left the ship so rattled by facial hair violations that Pentagon officials scrambled into emergency meetings, with political appointees demanding faster enforcement of grooming policies. "The push is to move faster," one Pentagon official wrote in an email, describing pressure to "revamp timelines" on Hegseth's beard crackdown.
Let that sink in. America has troops deployed from Iran to the Caribbean. The nation is grappling with the aftermath of a war that's cost every household at least $1,000. And the Secretary of Defense is treating stubble like a national security threat requiring urgent Pentagon-wide task forces.
"No more beardos," Hegseth declared to a room of top military officers last year, killing years of gradually loosening facial hair policy.
But this isn't just culture-war theater — it has real, discriminatory consequences. The policy disproportionately targets Black service members who suffer from pseudofolliculitis barbae, a painful medical condition where shaving causes hair to curl back into the skin. Under Hegseth's new rules, commanders can now discharge troops who need a shaving waiver after just one year of treatment — even though the military successfully managed this condition for over a decade.
Richard Brookshire of the Black Veterans Project didn't mince words: the policy "allows for an environment of hostility to our Black troops" and risks "getting rid of well-qualified, patriotic, lethal soldiers" — after taxpayers spent millions training them.
This is the same Hegseth who's brought Christian prayer services into the Pentagon, threatened the Boy Scouts over diversity policies, fired senior black and female officers, and cut military partnerships with Harvard and Yale for "leftist ideology."
America is at war. Pete Hegseth is hunting beards and pushing out Black service members over a treatable skin condition.
Priorities, indeed. Perhaps this hairy kerfuffle will lead Hegseth to hire and promote more female service members, for whom facial hair will be a moot point.
Please like and share if you see no reason why a Christo-fascist like Hegseth shouldn’t allow male service members to emulate the visage of a bearded Jesus Christ!
ICE killed a father who had lived in this country for nearly 35 years.
Now DHS is trying to deport the witnesses.
That is not accountability. That is obstruction.
RELEASE THE WITNESSES.
To be clear: ICE shot and killed a man who was not their target. He had no criminal record, was seeking legal status, & was pushed off the road by unmarked cars.
There’s “no body cam footage”, his family can’t recover his body, and the witnesses in his van have been detained.
BREAKING: The Trump White House just ousted all three sitting members of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission — hamstringing the bipartisan agency ahead of the midterms.
The EAC helps state and local officials run elections, including by certifying election equipment. https://t.co/DBaRuFaWJB
A man with NO criminal history was shot and killed by ICE.
As far as I'm concerned, Trump's DHS Secretary should get hauled in front of Congress to answer for every shooting.
We need a Congressional majority that will push for real answers and accountability. This cannot stand.
Seems telling:
The family of the unarmed family man driving to work and fatally shot by an ICE agent calls for an independent inquiry.
And ICE and DHS seem to be in full stonewall and coverup mode, with no interest in the facts coming to light.

🚨 White teenagers in Florida left their Black friend Marquise to drown in a river while taunting him with slurs and monkey noises from the shore.
Marquise couldn’t swim well and was wearing an ill-fitting child-sized life jacket. A kayaking family rescued him as he feared for his life.
He said his “friends” expected him to swim back alone. This kind of racist behavior is disgusting and should be investigated.

If we can afford to give the Pentagon another $1.5 TRILLION, we can afford to make sure kids don’t go hungry or die from lack of health coverage.
Truly shameful that we always find money for war and not for children.
$2.5 million. That’s what a convicted fraudster told fellow inmates he’d arranged to pay to get out of prison early. Not through an appeal, not through a judge, but through a phone call to the president.
David Gentile defrauded 10,000 investors out of $1.6 billion and was sentenced to seven years. Less than two weeks later, Trump commuted his entire sentence. When federal prosecutors started investigating how that happened, a DOJ official called the U.S. Attorney running the case, and the investigation was shut down within months.
Not because they ran out of evidence. Because someone in Washington decided they shouldn’t keep looking.
