We finished the season in 8th place at Champions.
Looking back on this year, I have a lot of mixed emotions and thoughts.
We achieved the goals we set last year, such as qualifying for international tournaments and winning a championship. At the same time, results like finishing 8th at Champions and as runners-up in Stage 2 left me feeling disappointed because we fell short of what we wanted to achieve.
Still, I believe that every experience throughout this journey has helped me grow as a player.
There were many things I wish had gone differently at Champions, and although I learned a lot throughout the process, I know that as a professional player, I ultimately have to prove myself through results. I also still have the same desire to live up to the expectations of the fans who support me.
I believe we achieved a lot this year, but there are also many things I wish we had done better. I won’t settle for what we accomplished this year. Instead, I’ll work on my weaknesses and continue to build on my strengths so that next year, we can finish the season on an even higher stage: the Champions Grand Final.
Last year, I said I wanted to make Nongshim RedForce a team that our fans could be proud of, and I’m happy that we were able to achieve that to some extent.
I don’t know what next year will bring, but thank you all so much for supporting us throughout this year. 🙇♂️
