@amitisinvesting you missed one. $ASTS just landed a $1B sovereign backed contract in Japan with Rakuten, its 3rd major regional JV alongside AT&T (US) and Vodafone (Europe). Japan's government is directly subsidizing the buildout, not dilutive equity raises. Market is going to start asking why not Starlink ๐
Definitive Commercial Agreements
AT&T โ signed May 2024, extends until 2030 (AT&T)
Verizon โ signed October 2025, service starting 2026
Vodafone โ definitive commercial agreement through 2034, covering 20+ countries across Europe and Africa
stc Group (Saudi Telecom) โ 10-year term, $175M prepayment, covering Saudi Arabia and MENA region
More to come.
Germany would probably block it. Also even if they did thats 1 vs 60 MNOs with ASTS. ASTS has a JV in Europe, North America & Japan. Deals with middle east and India. Not to mention SPCX needs modified phones and lower
LEO altitudes since thier new v3 array is so small. Spectrum is real-estate and SPCX doesnt have much.
