$ASTS is looking very attractive at these levels.
I'll be adding to my position here. I genuinely believe the risk-to-reward is extremely favorable over the long term.
$ASTS --- Early July, the space sector saw broad market ripple effects after Rocket Lab announced its blockbuster $80 billion acquisition of Iridium Communications. Investors view the mega-deal as definitive proof of scarce space communication assets, and the consensus street take is that $ASTS holds far more commercially competitive technology and spectrum holdings than Iridium, directly lifting valuation expectations for the stock.
$ASTS is set to execute a critical launch mission for BlueBird 11, 12 and 13 satellites in August 2026. This deployment marks a pivotal milestone toward completing its global cellular coverage footprint.
1.Seamless Direct-to-Cell Moat
Unlike Starlink, which requires proprietary user terminals, ASTS’s proprietary architecture delivers native satellite connectivity to standard unmodified smartphones with zero hardware upgrades required. This unlocks instant addressable access to billions of global mobile subscribers worldwide.
2.Tier-One Carrier Backing
The firm has forged deep commercial partnerships with top global mobile network operators including AT&T, Verizon and Telus. These telecom giants rely on ASTS’s space-based solution to fill terrestrial coverage dead zones across their networks.
3.Dominant Space Infrastructure Position
$ASTS controls an extensive portfolio of patents for large-scale phased antenna arrays in low Earth orbit (LEO), paired with built-in AI edge computing capabilities. Wall Street frames this asset stack as foundational critical infrastructure for the emerging space-based cellular network ecosystem. Its core long-term vision is to operate a global network of orbital cell towers covering every corner of the planet.
$ASTS $VOD: I wonder if Satellite Connect Europe is a notable part of his investment thesis. 🤔
Commenting on the announcement, Niel noted Vodafone’s quality assets and “diversified geographic footprint”.
He added: “We are confident Vodafone can deliver sustainable growth and strong cash flow generation over the long term and — as an anchor investor based in Europe — we are ready to contribute our deep sector expertise and operational knowhow to its future success . . . We have a proven track record of helping businesses to perform better and create substantial shareholder value.”
Vodafone on Friday described the Niel family group as a “supportive, long-term shareholder”, adding: “They recognise the quality of our diversified operations and have confidence in the new chapter of Vodafone’s growth.”
...
Vodafone has been undergoing a turnaround under chief executive Margherita Della Valle, who has sought to sell the group’s struggling businesses and strengthen its key markets.

Look at this! BB10 is settling fast. It's at 0.8 m^2 effective drag, while BB8-9 are at 1.0 m^2. I said this morning 2-3 days. That's coming soon. BB10 is going to be first to be unfolded.
@samhfinance 💯 I've sold all my BTLs and moved to capital into the markets. No more boilers to fix, toilets to unblock. The capital is being deployed in far more productive companies...
@PK_Fund Equivalent to building the rail road network. Once it's built, is up and running and has captured the market, then it's extremely difficult and uneconomical to build a second one. It soon becomes the main artery for transportation.
🚨 7+7M NATIONWIDE EX $T-MUS SPECTRUM IS HEADING $ASTS WAY, $T-MUS TO FOLLOW🚨
July 1: FCC approves T-Mobile → Grain 800 MHz spectrum deal
July 2: AST SpaceMobile files both SAT (DL) and SES (Handets) STAs to test the band
AST didn’t wait around. Filed the very next day.

$ASTS there's only one company with three best solution that can provide this.
Selecting any other solution would mean choosing an inferior product for national security.
There is only one....👀
$ASTS | NATO Launches HALO: Mega-Constellation Integration Becomes Alliance Priority
At the 2026 NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum in Ankara, eight Allied nations launched HALO (Hybrid Alliance Layered Operations in Space), a multinational initiative to integrate sovereign military satellites into a networked mega-constellation. The objective: resilient high-speed communications, intelligence sharing, and missile tracking capabilities that overcome the cost and coverage limitations of single-nation satellite fleets.
Alongside HALO, Canada became the 15th STARLIFT member (rapid-launch network across Allied spaceports), and Spain joined APSS as the 19th participant — now NATO’s largest multinational space investment. Türkiye also announced additional high-resolution satellites and LEO military communications investments.
NATO’s direction here is structurally aligned with where AST SpaceMobile is already positioned. The Alliance is explicitly seeking networked LEO architectures for resilient military comms — the exact capability AST has been demonstrating under U.S. defense contracts, including the SDA’s $30M Europa Track 2 HALO program and tactical NTN demonstrations with USINDOPACOM. The naming overlap between NATO’s HALO and SDA’s HALO program isn’t coincidental — both prioritize proliferated LEO integration with commercial dual-use infrastructure. With Vodafone’s SatCo JV already drawing interest from 21 of 27 EU member states (most of them NATO allies), AST’s constellation sits at the intersection of commercial D2D and Allied defense SATCOM demand. The runway for government revenue here extends well beyond the U.S.

Something has changed in the tape today... I don't know what yet, but it is trading independently for once and on very low volume.
This is the same day that over $24m in puts were sold to open for $75
Perhaps an algo has turned off (?)
I will find out
$ASTS - Clear Street's note about SpaceX vs. AST SpaceMobile competitive distinction which the market for now seems to be missing: 👀
"The more aggressively Starlink competes with mobile network operators, the greater the incentive for those operators to support and fund ASTS as a defensive solution. In that sense, Starlink's success can serve as a commercial tailwind for ASTS rather than a headwind."
