Was told something similar growing up when we went to church.
The Catholic church we attended had beautiful marble angel statues on the altar.
My parents told me that if I misbehaved God would turn me to marble just like the angels.
That actually may have been really cool.
The most elite parenting flex of 2026 just dropped. 😂😂😂
Mom at Target points at the kid mannequins and tells her child:
“These ones ran from their mother. Target froze them forever. Stay together or this is you.”
No yelling. No timeout. No empty threats.
Just pure psychological warfare using the décor.
I’m taking notes. My new strategy is “if you wander off, Wegmans turns you into a mannequin.”
Who’s trying this next weekend? 🤣
Baltimore and Washington, D.C. both landed in Allstate’s 2026 list of America’s riskiest cities for drivers — with D.C. ranked #2 and Baltimore #3. Between congestion, crashes, aggressive driving, and gridlock, the DMV continues to be one of the toughest places in the country to get behind the wheel. Drive defensively. 🚗
The LIST now includes The Triple Crown, which it appears Maryland has lost.
The Preakness Stakes is no longer included in the Thoroughbred Championship Series. The Triple Crown, as we knew it, is gone. Horse racing’s premier events NO LONGER include Baltimore/Maryland.

Leading financial officers from more than a dozen states are right to call on Congress for maximum healthcare price transparency & accountability.
By ensuring payment integrity and access to critical claims data, we can combat wide price variation and empower employers, patients, and all consumers to shop for the best plan.
Imagine surviving and even thriving after being strapped into a $1.88 Sears, “hope harness” only to grow up and get blamed for everything by generations after you. #boomers

This is STUNNING:
Baltimore City Schools has Maryland's LOWEST graduation rate at 71% (MSDE). But gets the MOST state funding; $19,093/student (DLS).
Worcester County has MD's HIGHEST graduation rate at >95%. But gets the LEAST state funding; $6,399/student.
Is $$ the answer?
To be forever known among Democrats as “The Platner Maneuver”:
Step 1: Nominate candidate who is parody of what Dems claim Reps are.
Step 2: Disavow said candidate.
Step 3: Claim moral superiority over Republicans b/c they don’t disavow their own candidates (who in reality share nothing in common w/ Dem candidate).
👀 Look closely at this pattern…
🤩 Fibonacci Sequence in the corn field.
💨 This was a corn field in Dorchester County after being hit with a microburst on Saturday July 4.
📷 👨🌾 Wendell M. Meekins Jr sent his to me. His son took the pic of their field with a drone.
🌽 He said the corn was planted in GPS Straight Line Rows.
🛸 The geometric pattern reminded me of Crop Circles because it looked planned.
🤔 Perhaps we are looking at Ground Zero for the core air impact with the ground.
📝 A little more research:
This specific pattern in the corn field is classic for a microburst’s divergent outflow—the sinking air hits the ground and spreads radially, flattening rows in curving, layered swirls. The Fibonacci-like spirals emerge from the way the wind gradients interact with the uniform crop rows, creating those elegant logarithmic curves.
