@AMillershaski@JohnDeere Straighten out one end of an S hook of a bungee strap it will fit just fine in there. Never have to worry about that being a problem. Done it every time after the factory one breaks. Haven’t replace any motors since they changed to one motor for each seed tank.
@BrianSanden8@JohnDeere Ours does this same thing. Strip with a 12 row and plant with a 24. Majority of the time it doesn’t split the middle of the 12 row. Have even seen random 1 row lines in the middle of the field a few times. Doesn’t matter if I have it on source path or fewest passes.
@farmerdan97 We have a factory John Deere one that’s been in a shed since we took it off the planter. I think it’s only a 450 gal. Located north central Kansas.
@jrdunk21@SiekerSales Those chain covers was a dead giveaway I built those one spring when it was wet. Got tired of digging mud out of sprockets. Prob shouldn’t have been planting but it was getting late if I remember right. I put them on both our planters at the time and never had that problem again.
@ksufearless@farmerdan97@BrentRogers19 Surefire meter tubes are without doubt the way to go. Been running them for a decade now on different types of applicators. Flawless
@AsphaltCowboy11@JohnDeere@LandMarkImp It was a pleasure to run this header! Your right when you say pictures don’t do it any justice! Thanks for the awesome pictures!
