BREAKING: Myanmar junta chief Min Aung Hlaing signed the “Union Counsellor Council Law” today.
The law forms a powerful new body to oversee security, defense, economy & foreign affairs, etc. This creates a supreme leadership mechanism likely designed for MAH to chair, allowing him to retain ultimate control regardless of who holds the presidency.
Thank you very much @IPUPresident and @IPUparliament Secretary General @MartinChungong for your wishes and solidarity at this tragic moment.
We urge all global parliamentary community to advocate the situation and humanitarian assistance to those Myanmar's people affected by the earthquake.

Binance’s earthquake relief plan for Myanmar is well-intentioned but flawed. Airdropping $5-$50 BNB to KYC-verified users isn’t real aid—survivors need food, water, and shelter, not crypto stuck in an exchange. Worse, people outside affected areas are exploiting this system, diverting funds from real victims.
Binance has the resources to make a real impact. Instead of airdrops, they should partner with trusted relief groups to fund food, medical aid, and rebuilding efforts. That’s real relief. That’s what Myanmar needs. Binance can still fix this—direct funds where they truly matter. Please hear us out. @binance@cz_binance@BinanceWallet
