@locusmag@HiddenSchools@maxgladstone The original Craft Sequence series was like this. Out of the five books, there is only one that I would call a clear cut evil villain from the beginning.
Nearly 4 years later and I finally get to read it. Would it have happened without my tweet? Probably. But I am still telling my my friends I successfully pulled off an inception.
So excited to read Shards of Glass by Michelle Sagara (@msagara)
@physicsdad23@LeanneCPowner Also: I just want you to know that I spent all night thinking about Robin, the cohort, Starrante and magical school >.<. These are not things I am writing now T_T
@HiddenSchools I dislike it first time. But loved FFF on reread. Mostly because of how it felt much more complete once Four Years Roads Cross came out. I can't imagine reading it before Four Roads Cross anymore.
Lots of reports of the #Pixel7 camera lenses shattering because of the metal phone casing contracting and expanding when going from cold to warm temperatures.
And @madebygoogle is telling customers they won't cover it even though it's clearly a manufacturing defect.
I don't claim to be an industry expert, but I think if the first 12 or so books of this series were offered in Kindle Unlimited, it would do really well and drive sales of the newer books. With 17 books, it has to be hard to on board new readers. KU is a great way to hook them.
Since I subscribed to Kindle Unlimited last year, it is rare for me to buy a book at full price. One exception is Michelle Sagara (@msagara).
Cast in Eternity, book 17 of the Chronicles of Elantra series just released. An engaging setting full of great characters and deep lore.
@ITMATRS1@peacock I'm not with this bigot. I am concerned about the commercial that shows Santa violently murdering people, not one that acknowledges homosexuals exist.
@ari_stocrate Depends on how long we've been dating and how serious it is. A few dates? A quick text is fine. Longer than that, a long text with a follow up face to face talk is best.
