To manage notifications, I needed Guids that could be calculated from a string (Hashes in short).

After tinkering with a lot of solutions, I finally had an epiphany: A Guid is ultimately only 16 bytes. And I know a hash function that returns me 16 bits: good old MD5

And because it was in the code-workspace file, I didn't realize it.
